Tara Khandelwal

Tara helps businesses scale faster through strategic content creation and audience building. She has built the company from the ground up to a fully-fledged content power house, and was the first to transform the creative skill-building economy in India by launching one of the country’s premier writing retreats as well as mentorships and training programs.

In her role as Managing Director, Tara steers creative, research, and production teams through a long-term content vision, and creates globally successful content IPs with loyal followers. As an entrepreneur, she speaks regularly about the future of India’s dynamic creator economy. She has previously worked at Penguin India, SheThePeople.TV, and BloombergQuint. Her writing has appeared in CondeNast Traveller, Scroll, Midday, and Outlook, among others. She also worked as an editor at Writer’s Side, Asia’s largest literary agency. Tara is an alumna of Columbia University and Imperial College, and currently lives in Mumbai. Her dog Simba is Bound’s cutest team member and mascot.

Aishwarya Javalgekar

Aishwarya heads the acquisition, creation, and launch of all of Bound’s original content, and is a driving part behind Bound’s biggest hits. Featured as India’s ‘Top 30 Women in content by Pepper Content’ in 2022, Aishwarya specializes in strategy and execution across formats.

Driven by her mission to uncover ground-breaking and impactful stories, she has mentored a wide range of creators, and demystified India’s podcasting and publishing industries through her guidebooks and her video podcast, “The Book People”. She is an alumna of Trent University and Humber College Canada, and has previously worked at Zubaan Books and Simon & Schuster Canada. In her free time, she is the founder and editor-in-chief of ‘ang(st), a zine dedicated to the everyday realties of feminism, and is a master at “Settlers of Catan”.
