Sandhya Thukaram

Sandhya Thukaram is an OKR evangelist/consultant. She has introduced the framework to over one hundred individuals/orginizations, coached entrepreneurs on adopting and implementation of OKRs apart from coaching individuals to use the framework for personal effectiveness. In her previous role as Chief Operating Officer at GAME-Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship, she was responsible for the implementation and execution of the OKR process.

In her 20 year career, entrepreneurship has been a consistent theme while key focus areas have been communications strategy, operations, organization strategy and people management. 

As Principal and Branch Head at The PRactice she led the communications strategy for Qualcomm India, Sequoia Capital India, the International Finance Corporation, Omidyar Network India and Ashoka Foundation among others. She set up the Social Innovation vertical focussed on Impact Investing.

In her role as Director Business Development and Marketing at the Impact Investing Fund- Unitus Seed Fund, she lead a team of scouts from across India to identify the most exciting impact businesses to invest in.

As one of the first two employees at GAME her primary role was to establish the mass entrepreneurship narrative in the country while also making entrepreneurship aspirational. Her work included leading the communication strategy, implementation of country wide campaigns with Alliance partners and bringing stakeholders together through multiple convenings. She eventually took on the additional responsibility of Operations.
