In partnership with Mudrex, we are happy to launch the fully funded fellowship “Society, Web 3.0, Crypto” from October 15-20.

At the end of the program, there will be cash prizes coupled with an opportunity to work at Mudrex. We want to ensure that learning is practical and actionable to your work lives. That is why we partner with the most promising companies to create such learning experiences.

Modules

We will study each module with the help of case studies and practical examples. Participants of this program will be expected to go through pre-readings so that 50% of the time is spent on discussions and analysis. This is the standard operating procedure of all top business schools and has proven to be an effective way of learning new things in a short time.

We are mindful that all of you are busy. 30 minutes of pre-work and 30 minutes of assignments per session is the expected time commitment beyond class discussions.

How to build a country using Balaji Srinivasan’s new book as reference

We will summarize the key ideas of his book for you. Your job as learners would be to build on some of these concepts and apply them to your context. We will guide you through the process.

Deconstructing power

The Web 3.0 revolution is about democratizing ownership. This has direct implications on the power structures of today. We will undertake a comprehensive study of power from authoritarianism to democracy to technocracy.

The business of education, fashion, music and writing

In this module we will study the comparative difference between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, keeping platforms in mind.

The future of protests and social movements

Web 3.0 is not just for techies. It will change the way people protest and organize. In this module, we will go through a simulation where we will try and think through “Arab Springs” in the crypto sphere. What might have that looked like would be our overarching question.

How to make your first $1000 equivalent using crypto

Here we will deconstruct some of the most interesting professionals who have made solid financial gains following clear strategies. We do not want to go into hot new trends and exceptions. The larger purpose is to help you build a robust strategy for your personal investments.

Metaverse: Best and worse case scenarios

Here we will define the metaverse and go through various scenarios. The future is not preordained. It will very much be a function of our choices.
Graduating assignment - To graduate from the fellowship and be eligible for the cash prize and work opportunities at Mudrex, participants will be pitching their vision of a new country built on Web 3.0.
