Rajen Makhijani

Rajen is a Client Partner with Korn Ferry, Singapore where he focuses on leadership development, and organization strategy. He is also the APAC co-leader of ESG solutions. In his 21 year post IIM career, he worked with McKinsey, Heidrick and Dalberg, among others. He has served governments, social enterprises, impact investors, Fortune 500, UN bodies, and Development Finance Institutions, and political leaders, on Strategy and Leadership. He is a two-time TEDx speaker including ‘Uneducated, not Stupid – How the poor view life’ (~240,000 views) and ‘Why Stories’; he is the author of a chapter in The Global Handbook of Impact Investing, 2021, entitled ‘Leadership By Results - for Impact Investors and Investees’. He has published in BusinessWorld, India Development Review and others. He was on the jury of News Television Awards, for the Environmental and Social categories, 2021. He is a part of the core team of “Lead Like Gandhi”, a 9 day full time ‘Purpose Discovery’ program for leaders, conducted at the Sabarmati Ashram. He is also an award nominated screenwriter with 4 full length movies, including on Netflix, Amazon Prime and ShemarooMe. Rajen is a Sir Dorab Tata Merit Scholar, a Wings of Excellence Awardee at the ISC, University of St.Gallen Switzerland. But above all, he is a father of three naughty boys and an obedient husband. He lives in Singapore.
