How often have you learned something and realized that it would have helped you in a lot of situations? How often have you wished you had known something earlier? How often have you realized that you learnt something a little too late?

Now what if I told you that I had something that can help you learn a lot of the things that the future you would otherwise have wished you knew? A way to get to learn from the journey without going through the journey?

Presenting “I Wish I Knew This” - A Series of Fireside Chats.

For the fourth episode, I speak to Arman Sood.

Arman Sood was always interested in entrepreneurship since his college days. In his 2nd year of Law School, he started an e-commerce startup, along with a friend, retailing Bar & Party Accessories.
After college, Arman joined Embibe, a leading tech start-up, whether he worked as a Marketing & Communications Evangelist, and gained a deeper understanding of the day-to-day operations and functions of a business.

An entrepreneur at heart, Arman quickly understood the need to make real coffee available at home in the most convenient format, once he studied the coffee market in India and realised the gap that existed. Pioneering the new coffee movement in India, Arman got together with his friends – Ajai Thandi and Ashwajeet Singh, and launched Sleepy Owl Coffee in 2016. At Sleepy Owl, Arman manages Operations, Supply Chain, and Institutional Sales, and ensures that customers are happy and caffeinated at all times.

Introducing Mishaal

In the past 3 years, I've graduated from Law School, founded a creative agency, got into Harvard Business School, worked in the CEO's Office at a fast growing e-commerce startup, launched a newsletter, and now I'm working in venture capital. None of this would have been possible without the support and guidance of my mentors and friends around me.

Having said that, there's a lot I know today that I wish I knew while going through the journey. I’m really excited to collaborate with Network Capital and do a series of fireside chats on topics that I wish I had more information about during my journey.
